Horsetail

I wish I could remember how I came across this amazing herb. I am fascinated by herbs in general and was probably researching what teas to blend for healthy skin when I came across horsetail, which is named such because the stem resembles a horse's tail. Horsetail contains a lot of wonderful minerals that help to support healthy skin including the minerals silica, manganese and iron. In addition it also possesses anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and antibacterial properties. The star mineral here is silica. As we all know aging is inevitable, and as we do we loose collagen which results in thinner, less elastic skin and in turn we develop wrinkles. Silica aids in the production of collagen making it the glue, so to speak, that we need to rebuild our skins strength.

You can find this amazing herb in the The Anti-Aging Oil, The Niacinamide Moisturizer, and The Eyebright Serum.
